RAIN, THE NATURAL DRENCHER

It is transparent,
But not quite aparant

Sometimes as a mother
It feeds the Earth,
But sometimes as a bluffer
It floods the Earth,

Shows its divinity
 to those in its vicinity.
Flourishes the crop when ecstatic,
Destroys it when splenetic.

Vapourises, condenses and precipitates,
A perfect life cycle as our fate.
Peacocks dance as it rains,
Winters coming soon is what strikes our brains.

It’s the onset of monsoon signifies the mire,
It’s pure odour is what we admire.
Kitchens all set to fry ,
As our taste buds demand high.

Umbrellas , raincoats and gumboots all set ,
In the water collected , the paper boats become jet.

Yippee, happy we are as it rains,
Excitement, fun , playfulness runs through our veins.
