My Lullaby
Rain cascades down on my roof
Dancing, twirling, jumping, falling
Bits of moon tumbling from the heavens
Glinting, shining pieces of light
Sliding down the windows and dripping off the house
Gentle and soft, whispering quiet tunes
Tiny star droplets drench the ground
Moonlit music resounding all around
Light touches of sweet dampness
I listen to the melody
As I am lulled to sleep

I think this is reaaaally pretty and was looking for a poem to use as lyrics for a lullaby I am supposed to be writing for my a level music coursework when I came across it
Would you mind if I maybe used this as my lyrics? Because we dont have to write them ourselves and after searching for ages its the first lullaby poem I have liked (:
