Well, you and I are like two pins on a wire
trying to blow the wind away.
Ha ha, try not to laugh, but …
I went fishing in your grandpa's koi pond
where you first learned how to kiss.
Making faces in the water,
listening to that voice that scares me.
I think we should tie red ribbons on trees
and buy a two story big house.
We can paint it a different color every month.
I was thinking neon green in February.
