Shadows
[Falling towards the ground, me]
Strangers
[Moons collide, sky slipping]
Silence
[Almost entire worlds drowned in breathing;]

(Just)

Violins-
[Heralds deliver them to me]
Pianos-
[Workshops where fingers, notes are twisting]
Cymbals-
[Explosions of devastating beauty]

(Like)

Thunder-
[The sky starts cracking at the seams]
Lightening-
[Complements as insult to injury]
Rain clouds-
[Broken words sit on cracking seats]

(In)

Hallways-
[Puddles as sidewalks turn to seas]
Mirrors-
[Furious lairs of hidden beasts]
Windows-
[Tear-filled eyes on a face of concrete]

(My)

Brother-
[Fire rips through the morning breeze]
Father-
[A fish at dawn, ever thirsty]
Mother-
[Day and night are one to the lonely]

(Own)

Voices-
[Blankets ever-moving cover needs]
Words-
[Masks of pride over façades of defeat]
Promises-
[Wind casts the snake from inside the reeds]
