The Choice
Here I stand
On the edge
Waiting
Waiting for something
I do not know
To help me
Here at the precipice
Of nothing less
Than decision
A choice to make
For right or wrong
Better or worse
But of course
I do not know
The way to go
To right is
Just as steep
As the left
Or the middle
And each way has
Its own little paths
More decisions
Choices
For right or wrong
Better or worse
But of course
I do not know
The way to go
Which is better?
But perhaps
It is not all in the one choice
For right or wrong
Better or worse
And perhaps
Each little decision
Along the way
Decides for sure
How fate
Will take its course
As I travel
Down the road
So I don't make the choice
Now
I only look forward
And let
What I was waiting for
Make it for me
Which was of course
All along
The choice I had to make
For right or wrong
Better or worse
And I think
It will amount
To the former

(I think I might be your biggest fan :P)
Once again, a wonderfully crafted poem. Not sure I'm quite on board with the whole "fate" thing, but I think I get what you're saying. The last few lines were especially poignant. "For right or wrong/Better or worse/And I think/It will amount/To the former." The structure made it so powerful!
Ok, I'm done now *sheepish grin*
