Incurable Pain
Salty cheeks and insides that are as useless as a cricket with no sound
A constantly collapsing body and the mindset that you are invincible
Because that's what teenagers are suppose to be
Unless illness waltzes in your jam and screws it all up
It feels as if you've had the skin ripped off your hands
It sucks because no one wants to hold them anymore
It's not like they don't come around asking how you are
Even though it's out of curiousity, not compassion
But how should they know
And why sould they care
You canceled plans with them just because you're incurably sick
How selfish can you get?
Your insides are broken and your "friends" don't care to have a clue what you're going through
They come and go
But the pain never leaves.

My philosophy: it’s none of my business what people say of me and think of me. I am what I am and I do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier.
