My dreams
I dream I’m falling
From a sky of dark lavender
With twisted, taunting clouds
My whole being in a flounder
The cold piercing winds around me like infinite shrouds
I awake bawling
I dream I’m at a tea party
Lilac lips and fuchsia hair
Burnt almond flavors on my tongue
I sit upon a vanilla lace chair
Their maniacal eye stalked and stung
I awake holding a Barbie
I dream I’m alone
No judgment yet no support
I long for touch, as I long for sound’
The blank walls contort
On said empty walls I pound
I awake reaching for my phone
I dream he’s with another
Their arms so tight
Love in their eyes
No vision of me in sight
My mind is filled with weeping skies
