My mind is burning with the question

Why am I here,Why cant I leave?

I feel no movement or progression

As I'm longing to be free

All the people that I've lost

Who somehow to me were dear

They will never know the cost

Of how much I need them here

I often wonder throught the night

Why God chose to place me here

Crippled by remorse and fright

As I'm crying silent tears

Everything was going well

'til these thoughts entered my head

Saying I should end myself

And it was my fault instead

But alas my eyes are dry

I grit my teeth so I dont cry

Fear is what first closed my eyes

What you see is a disguise

22 years have gone so fast

I cant recover whats in the past

Memories that I keep guarded

Which has left me heavy hearted

But now I know that I'm not worthless

For God has shown me divine purpose

This is amazing, and it really captures what I've felt before. I would love it if you could look at a my poems and comment or like.

This work was amazing. Tears started to flood my eyes from the depth of this poem. You're an exceptional and gifted writer and I look forward to reading more from you. Keep up the good work

“Yes I love him. I love him more than anything else in this world and there is nothing that I would like better than to hold on to him forever. But I know it's not for the best. So no matter how much my heart is going to break, I've got to let him go so he can know just how much I love him. Maybe if I'm lucky, he'll come back, but if not, I can make it through this.”

That was absolutely one of the most amazing and touching poems I've ever read!! I know it came from the heart and don't feel bad I've been there 2.

I usually don't go for the religious stuff, but this is really REALLY good. Could you check out one or two of my poems please?
