"It is not the length of life but the depth of life"- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sickly thorn child
Thin lips weep
Divide; commiserating
Nails dug into stains
Elusive captions
That blue drops
Back into abate
Criminal snaps.

Love must be the bars-
Must be the bars,
The bars that fight back.

Hush sounds that hit the limit
Laying the tracks
Dawn hopes
Floating a broken boat
Lungs fried
Bait cringed
Enclosing you

Immortal dues
Estranged from life
Estranged form dust

Particles of your empty lust
Fangs that stole my blood
Emotions crawl that life like spiders
piano melodies begin to salivate
Spinning moons
Crumble- obliged and forged

Love must be the bars-
Must be the bars,
The bars that fight back.

Be happy, the sky is still blue....kinda'

First of all, I’d like to thank you for commenting so kindly toward my own works, I’d like to return the favor so….I’ve read all of your poems and they all seem to have this very subtle beauty kinda’ like you’re painting a picture with pure words and emotions guide the brushstrokes, but anyway…this one is my favorite I’ve fallen in love with this particular set of lines: “Love must be the bars-/Must be the bars,/

The bars that fight back” …I honestly have no idea what it means but I brings to mind some type of protective torture, but I personally never know what my ( or anyone else’s) poetry means I just judge on the basis of the emotions it provokes and your poetry is beautifully amazingly strong! Keep writing! :)
