I only wanted to fly.

everything is so uncertain
i suppose change is what makes us human
able to adapt
i don't like these new changes
so uprupt
life shaking alterations
feeling fear find its way in
my thoughts twist and assimilate
it formulates this
i wonder what my fate would've been
if there was no outside intervention
no one to make these changes for me
i am what Ive become
a slow adaption of my atmosphere
morphing me into a being like myself
who else could i have been?
would i have liked it?
this is all so strange...
unfamiliar and unknown
ill never know about the lives that couldn't been
the things i would've known
or the people ill never meet
i have to follow the path laid before me
the one fate has chosen
in this somehow- new life
i could be capable of great things
i just have to find myself,
and walk the path
wherever it may take me

Wow! This is really insightful and good. (:

I think your stylistic choice of no captials was a good idea for the poem also.

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing..

I love it!!! && i can relate.... all one can do is just to follow fate's wish........ only hope and pray that there isnt a whole lot of pain!!! =..)
