- What Matters
The flashbacks threaten to blind me,
To take away everything left sane
Everything that is still normal in your eyes.
The flashbacks are so powerful I cannot control them.
Nobody can help me stop them.
No one can help me forget the past.
The views of loves dying are burned in my memory,
Sketched in my brain, tattooed on my heart.
I can't heal this pain I am ever tormented by.
I am giving up now, giving up forever.
I just wish someone cared enough about me
To truly help me forget this pain, this sorrow.
