Favorite Quote:
"I believe nothing can be justly and completely explained by words."

Last May,
Seemingly so short ago,
Of relentless heat
And busy streets.

When I struggled to walk
Due west away from
The "Happiest Place On Earth,"
Inferior under the sun.

That day,
All thoughts escaped.
Useless sentiments
In the heavy heat.

One foot then the next,
A guise of composure
Forged over the year,
Nothing in the heat.

Longer strides
Quicker steps
Mundane things evaporated
In the intolerable heat.

And I, engulfed
In exuberant sweat,
Broke under
The unbearable heat.

Presently, this May,
In the cool shade
A salty drop falls
In this persistent heat.

In commemoration of my father. It's been a year since he passed away.
