Leaves Falling

                                    Fall
 By: Savanna Polluconi

 Once a year,
 I look out my window,
 And see leaves falling,
Orange like the popsicle melting in your mouth
And red like the sunburn on your shoulder from the summer,
And the kids jumping into piles of leaves,
With gentle breezes blowing through their hair,
 There’s something about Fall,
 That brings out such earthiness,
Gold leaves adorn bushes and trees,
Like an artist with a creative brush.
 Autumn wind gently in,
 Washing away summer’s sin,
 As Fall wind passes
We wait for winter’s snowy blast.
