The Duke and His Wife
This is piece is a recreation of the famous portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Urbino. The reason that I switch their faces is to create a gender ambiguity. I strongly believes in gender equality because I think nowadays people judge others too much based on their gender. Therefore, I try to challenge this concept. In this case, a pretty face looks good on any one.
