My perspectives of life and morality
It has always been my desire to become a useful instrument for God. I don't expect personal perfection; I merely humbly prepare to live by the word of God.
''''''''''' My early years began in the sanctuary and the halls of Redeeming Love Christian Academy as an avid church member and a student. As a student at Love Christian Academy, I can recall being surrounded by the love of God, instilled with the word of God and taught to never meander in the halls of mediocrity. At the academy, I was given a basic foundation to in understanding grow over the years: Knowledge about the one true God, the salvation of man, and the word of God.
''''''''''' Now, 17 years later I am still happily grounded in the word of God, humbly seeking His wisdom. My walk with God has taken me on a journey that always allows me to serve Him by serving others. I always try to emulate Christ in all that I do. On a daily basis I face obstacles that challenge my faith, some harder than others, but nevertheless, I try to hold strong and do the right thing. '''''''''''
''''''''''' I observe my friends on a daily basis, and hear how a few of them party, drink, smoke, and have sex. Such behavior would sound like fun if it wasn't for the warning in my heart. It is sometimes hard as a teenager not to follow my friends as they indulge in these worldly things. However, the strong foundation that was instilled in me from childhood helps me to hold on to my faith. Among my friends, I'm called strange; however, they respect me and my decisions.
''''''''''' I plan to grow stronger in my faith as I continue through life. I believe that attending a Christian-based college such as liberty, and growing in the word of God will be an integral part keeping me on the right path. When it's all said and done all I want to hear the Lord say is, 'Well done, my faithful servant.'
