The tale of the spirit of chaos

It was the year 1701 and in a village not to far from the temple of gods a festival was being held to honor the gods and there blessings to witch had bestowed upon their land, but whilst they were enjoying there celebrations they were unaware that not far from there homeland a certain God was conjecturing up a plan to get back at his brethren's for injustice that was bestowed upon him by the people despite being the start of the Gods influence on the people who worshiped them. In an abandoned temple, long forgotten by any human, a creature, a spiritual one at that, was being given new life and a single purpose. As the spirit opened its eyes, the first thing it saw was the strange setting for which it had awakened from, as it looked about, it began to move curiously around its domain, admiring the beauty that lay around it. The God stood silently as he watched his creation wonder about the temple with such admiration in its eyes. He began to ponder in his mind about his strange creation, but he shook his head and soon took the attention of his creation to teach it of its purpose and abilities. Three days had passed as he trained the spirit on how to use its mischievous nature in power to slowly attack the village from the inside out, soon the spirit began its journey to the village to which it was set to destroy slowly. It soon reached the edge of the land that sustained the village but stood still when the inhabitants of the village came into view, children were playing and the adults were working on cleaning up the aftermath of the festival that had taken place nights past.  The spirit grew curious about the people that it saw but quickly thought of a way to blend in with its  people, and soon enough, he came up with a human form to take. As the children were playing their games the adults began to call upon their offspring to signify that it was time to return home, one child in particular had caught something in the corner of their eye near the edge of the forest. The child walked towards the bushes that hide the spirit in its new form, they slowly moved the bushes to reveal the small human clothed in a red cape and dirty rags to cover up the rest of its torso. “Hey are you alright?” The spirit was unsure on how to respond to the human, so they just sat there with no idea on how to answer. “Do you not know how to talk?” ”What's your name?” The spirit simply shook its head and then the human offered its hand, “don’t worry i'm sure my older brother will know how to help” “come with me and i'll take you to him.” With hesitation, they accepted the hand, and with that, they were set on their way to the house which held the family of the child. As the children made their way to the home the chaos god stood by watching as the small mortal took his creation so carelessly to the one place that he intended to send it to destroy in order to gain the attention of the gods that left him to be forgotten. But then a sudden question popped into his stormy mind,”would it be worth it in the end? What would he gain out of all of this?”. He simply brushed off the questions that had appeared and went about his day continuing to create new ideas for his plan on his act of revenge. Meanwhile with the “too'' small humans they had arrived at the home which resembled more of a castle or a church perhaps much different from the other homes that they had passed by but nonetheless the human seemed happy when they arrived, “charlie! Charlie! I found a lost kid on the edge of town, but they look around your age.” At the mention of a strange person, a taller human approach, he was a darker shade than the spirit and held two round shapes on his nose and had short hair that was tied back, as well as an interesting shape on its shirt that seemed to signifying something that must have meant power of something? “What’s going on? What are you talking about? The next village is a three day walk from here.” As the tall male approached the front of the home he came to a halt as the strange person came into view, he was shocked at the state of the person dressed in nothing but rags and unkempt hair. “By the gods what’s happened to this person!” the male walked quickly to the unknown person to examine them to insure that they hadn't sustained any injuries or illnesses but the appeared to be no scratches on them and they seemed completely fine despite the lack of speech coming from there form, “my name is charlie as you heard from my insufferable little brother” as he looked down at the smaller human before him, he merely grind at his older pear with a slight hit of teas in his smile. “C-Chaile?” they muttered out softly. Both stood there in shock as they realized that the person must  have speech problems in hopes of teaching them and hoping to get information on who they are and where they came from. Soon, the two males were able to get a few answers from the strange person, they explained that they didn't have a name but would like one and as for where they came from they claimed that they had no memory of their origin. Whilst they got on about what they should do next, nun were the wiser to the god of chaos was preparing to inflict his first step of his plan. Suddenly, a large bang was heard outside. The trio quickly ran outside to see what was happening and saw a sight of distraction being brought on by the forgotten God himself. He had seemed to change his size by the max. He was blasting homes, fields, and parts of the forest while laughing maniacally. The oldest of the group eminently began to race towards the fight, summing weapons from mid-air, as he yelled at his younger kin to take the stranger to safety until the chaos had settled down. The small human quickly took the stranger back into the home into the basement where a protection spell casted upon it, as they waited for the sounds of destruction so seas the spirit was wondering what was so wrong with the distraction that was happening above and so they taped on the small humans shoulder with a questioning look which confused the human. "Do you not understand what's going on? Did you even know who that was in the sky?" The spirit shook their head, "that was Asani the lost God of chaos, he used to be a part of the tribe of gods, but one day he took his fun for chaos too far and ended up destroying the one God that was beloved by all… his wife Annika. She was the goddess of mercy, which was speculated to be the only reason as to why she had married him. After her death he was banished from his title of a God and he vowed to be back and take his place as the leader of the gods and would make them feel the pain of losing everything he healed dear. After that, he hasn't been seen. The spirit sat there confused after what they had just been told sank in, on what he had done and the why that he was treated after, but something didn’t feel right about the tale. Soon the nose stopped and they stepped out of their hiding spot to see the destruction that had occurred, and out of the corner of the spirit's eye they saw Asani signaling them to return to the temple, they as quietly as possible sped over the follow the god leaving the small human confused as to where they were leaving to in such a hurry but they just assumed that they just felt overwhelmed with the incident that had occurred not knowing that his older brother had seen what had just occurred with a terrified look painted over his face. As the spirit returned, the god seemed pleased at his work on the small village. The spirit had looked up at the god with a questioning look “name Asani?” The god stood there in shock but then it faltered when he realized that the small human that he had seen them with must have told them about the legend that had been told about him so he took this as the time to tell his side of the story. “Yes, my name is Asani, and I was once a part of the gods that the village worshiped until the demise of my dear wife. They had all assumed that i was the one that took her life because of my nature, and so without trial they banished me to the ground removing me of my good name and turned the people against me to insure that i wouldn’t find a way to prove my innocence for my my dear Annika’s death.” The spirit looked saddened by the story, and they saw how saddened the god looked at the memory of his past. Without warning, the spirit gave him a hug to signify that they understood the gods' reasoning. Back outside the temple, Charlie had arrived wondering what he would see within the long neglected temple. They climbed up a tree that was near an opening and peeked in, what they saw was not at all what he thought he would ever see, the god that had just destroyed half of his home was being engulfed in a hug by the person that had just appeared out of nowhere was suddenly acting like a child giving their father a hug. The boy stood there stunned at the sight and quickly jumped down from the tree and waited a few meters from the temple as he waited for the person to exit the temple. Soon, they saw them walking out, but they looked a bit different from what they did moments ago. They had gray patches on their skin as well and noticeable tall ears that looked almost like a big cat as well as a black tail to match. They waited for the spirit to just pass them in order to catch them to start interrogating them for what exactly they were and what purpose they served, not knowing that they were already aware of their presence, "you may come out from the trees, I know you're there." The male stepped out with caution, "what are you truly, do you not know whom that was that you were just embracing? They had a solid staring conflict before the spirit spoke in an unfazed tone, "yes, he is my creator, and it seems that you don't understand how that could be seeing as he's actions upon your home not too long ago left nothing but suffering upon the people that turned on him without second thought." Charlie stood still shocked at the spirit's wording. Not too long ago, they barely spoke his name, and yet here they were speaking, they stood there for a solid moment contemplating what would come of this interaction. "So, he is your father then? And yet has not given you a name?" "Asher my name is Asher, and it seeing as you know of my origin, you know what I must do." They say in an unsettling tone, startling the male as he turned to run back to his home to warn them of what was to come, as he ran Asher began to expand there size as big as a dragon. As Charlie ran back to his home he eminently rang the bell to warn the village, and once the bells calling got wind of the people they all went into a panic mood, rushing back to their home to suddenly stop at a sight above there home. A creature of fur and feathers with wings as big as its form, just the sight of the creature sent all of the villagers into even more of a panic as they all ran to find sanctuary from the monster, Charlie knew that he would have to slay Asher in order to keep the villagers safe but the words that they had spoken  earlier repeated in there mind. The god was seemingly banished for killing his god wife but how was it done? There was never a clear answer to her death and so why was he blamed for her sudden death, and he was the only parent figure that they had and as any child would, they were merely carrying out their fathers wishes, which in this case was to get revenge on the people who caused him pain. And so they ran to Asher to hopefully talk to them into preventing the outcome that was sure to come. “ASHER PLEASE STOP THERE'S NO NEED TO DO THIS!” “We can work though something to give your father the justice that he's disserving!” Asher stood still at his words seemingly contemplating whether or not is this was a trap but then spoke to all who would listen, “to the people of this land and the gods who watch over us all my this day be marked at a day of forgiveness and as day in which we all can live happy and content lives, and for this i give my sacrifice to prove that my words are true and pure.” ”to my creator the god of chaos i thank thee for the life that you have given me and my apologies for giving it away” and with that the creatures body began to glow and let out a roar like a sirens call, and not a moment later they dissipated into little particles that resembled falling stares. All who were there were touched by the sacrifice of the creature and the mention of the god. From that day the god was given more respect and he shared his story to all as to finally clear his name had he would soon be approached by the gods with forgiveness and apologies for the injustice he was treated with and offered a place to return with them but he declined and therefore giving up his immortal life to live on as a mortal until his death.

And from then on the spirit of chaos known as Asher would then live on as the spirit who changed the heart of a god.

this piece was inspired by the move Nimona from Netflix and with a character that I created and wanting to create a story that shows' what happens behind common bad guy story's and showing how even they have harts that can be torn and that seemingly the only way for a words to be taken to hart is if another ceases to beat
