Gone
The house was dead silent. The house cried with sorrow and desolation. The people in the house wished that everything in the past ten minutes would disappear, into a land far, far away. All the memories, gone. They tried hard to forget, but it kept coming back, to torment and plague. He would say it's all okay. But, his words made no difference. She knew, the past could not be undone. The memories flashed again, a small boy froliciking about the garden. His laughter, echoing through the house, filling it with life. His innocent brown eyes, still stranger to the reality of the world. She bit her lip, and cried. She wished that the boy did not run away. She wished that the boy would come back to her, his dear mother. Her ears yearned to hear the word, mom. But, she knew deep down that it was all over, they all did.
