The Beauty of Night
The night was dark, not even a street light to cut through it. Majestic mountains rose out of the darkness, tall, beautiful, and capped with snow. Their jagged peaks glistening in the moonlight. Down below, a few lights blinked through the darkness, from the small town at the bottom of the valley. A cool breeze blew, rustling the the leaves of the trees and bushes, sending the crisp scent of fall into the air. The world seemed peaceful at night, unlike the pandemonium that dominated the day. Slowly the sky began to brighten. A few rays of sunlight stretched out, coloring the sky in beautiful, brilliant colors. As the warmth and light bathed the world in a soft glow, the world seemed to wake up.
