I Never Loved You

“I love you,” he says to her wife.
“I love you too,” she says back.
He leaves the house for work, coming back just 30 minutes later after forgetting his wallet.
He looks for his wife and her belongings, nowhere to be seen
He reads the note left behind, “I never loved you.”
