Cookie baking

My friends and I hear the electric mixer beating butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla into a bowl. Watching the baking soda getting dissolved into hot water. The flour is soft like a fluffy blanket. Mixing in the flour and chocolate chips takes teamwork just like a sports game. Feeling the cookie dough when picking it up with our hands. It feels smooth. Once the cookies came out of the oven they were crispy and still soft.
