It's dark, looming over. Wide, vast, terrifying. I am chased under it, tormented with my own nightmares, held in the dark. I am crippled under the weight of what I know, the secrets I have overheard, the things no one should hear, the plans of death and murder they have told me.

It's coming closer, I am shying away, the dark seems ready to close in, and I am falling through demention. I am stepping back, running away, crossing bridges, running further, but still chased. The blackness of hell is folding around me, like curtains of silent night air. Agony is closing in but I am fighting it back, keeping it at arm's length.

The nightmares are wrapping themselves tighter around me, holding on by the forces of misery, tighter and tighter, drowning all hope.

But someday, against all odds, storm will clear and light will shine through the dark.

I had a pencil and paper and was told to "write something". This is what I came up with. I liked it so much that I later posted it on my blog and am now postiting it here
