Should I be to blame for the atrocities that surround me?
The goings on had not just erupted unexpectedly; overtime, others lost their jobs, their belongings, their memories…their life.
Pains of hunger weighed heavily on my shoulders, gnawing at me continuously, as if ripping me apart. As the sinister silence against the unexpected whooshing of the palm trees engulfed me, the low hum of the jeep, lay waiting, its hungry growl threatening to drag me away into the mere unknown.
Fear engulfed me in its evil essence as I froze in thought, when the familiar yet eerie moan of the dreaded future neared my lawn.
