fining my father

I woke up to my alarm and got ready for school. I attend Mithuania university, one of the top three university’s in Courope. When I got to my first class the president, Malia Garb, was waiting for me with her tea cup Yorke in hand. She came to me and said” Samuel Charleston, you have been randomly chosen from your class to be my dog sitter for the day.”

I was very confused as to why she didn’t get an actual dog sitter to watch over her dog and instead decided to get a random university student. I just went along with it because she’s the president and I didn’t want to question her. She turned towards the door and motioned to me to follow her. She led me to the parking lot and to an expensive looking black car with dark tinted windows. Two huge buff guys in crisp black suits and cool shades stepped out of the car. One emotionlessly opened the front passenger seat for Malia while the other, also without emotion, opened the back door for me. I saw a driver in the driver seat and then noticed the men in suits get in the car and sit on my two sides. The president pulled out a yellow CD from under her seat and puts it into the CD player. I hear the song “Right Now” play and realize that she’s playing post Malone’s new album. I see she has good music taste. We reach her mansion, get through the gates and enter through the front doors. Seeing the inside shakes me. There are glass chandeliers hanging from the golden ceiling, beautiful decorations that line the walls and a beautiful table covered in delicious treats. Malia immediately explains all the things I need to do to properly care for her dog who’s name I learned is Melon. She put the dog upstairs and started towards the door, but before she walked out I stopped her and asked, “Where are you going?”
She looked me in the eye with a hesitant look and then said” I have a gambling problem and I’m going to a casino.” She gave me a serious look and then said” If you tell anyone about this I will kill you and your family.” She then continued out the door and left.

Today is a weird day I think to myself. I pull out my phone and see that it’s 12 o’clock, time for melon’s bath. I walk up the grand stair case to melon’s room and retrieve her from her hot pink bed. I put her in the tub and turn the faucet on. Once she’s drenched I turned the faucet off and in the process, my elbow knocked a large bottle of shampoo off the edge of the tub. I heard a loud thump and a high-pitched squeal. My heart dropped as I looked over and the animal unconscious with the bottle on her. I start to panic but then remember the emergency care class my mom forced me to attend. I calm myself, take the bottle off her and then perform a few chest compressions. I hear and feel some shallow breathing coming from melon’s mouth. I let out a breath of relief and thank my mom for sending me to those classes. As I went to put the shampoo back I knocked over a bottle of conditioner and heard another thump and yelp. I try to revive the pup again but fail. I realize I just killed the president’s dog and start worrying. I regain my composure and decide to give melon a quick burial and head back to my dorm as usual. I go crash right onto my bed and go to sleep.

I woke up the next morning still tired. I couldn’t sleep very well because last night’s events kept coming back to my mind. I make my morning coffee and turn the news on. I see my picture on the screen with the word “wanted” beneath it. The news reporter was talking about how the president’s dog was missing, and I was the prime suspect. The first thought that came my mind was to get on a plane and head out of the country. I put a couple pairs of clothes, a toothbrush, and a hair brush into my back pack. I needed to be extra safe because of the amount of people after me, so I took my emergency gun and put it in the waistband of my pants. I head to the nearest airport and buy the first ticket to Bad Griten, a country far from Mithuania. As I’m waiting for the flight boarding to begin I hear two women conversing about me.

“Did you know that they’re tracking him through his phone? “One says to the other.

Right after I hear this I see a police officer running towards me. I hear him telling me to freeze. I get up and go to the big glass window next to me, take my gun out, and ram the butt against the glass. It breaks into many fragments and I jump out of the window onto the run way with dozens of planes. The officers are quick to jump after me and I sprint, trying to get them to lose my location. As I’m running for ward I see two planes next to each other and an idea pops into my head. I take my phone, send a quick I love you text to my mom, and throw it into the first plane. I then quickly hop aboard the second one. The one with my phone closes and takes off. The police case after it, trying to tell the pilot to stop. They fail as the plane flies out of vision. I started to relax after the stressful situation when I realize I’m on a plane for luggage and have no idea where It’s going. Before I had the time to think about whether to stay or leave the plain, the engine roars and it takes off. At least I don’t need to make that decision. I feel myself dosing off and allow myself to do so because I didn’t get much sleep the night before.

I woke up due to the impact and quietly snuck off the plane. It was bright and sunny outside. I get into the airport and see a sight on the wall that says “Ramerican airport does not tolerate smoking “I realized I was in Ramerica, a whole other continent. I leave the airport and see a building that says Dorida museum. I guess that Dorida is the state I’m in. I see the sun set and find a street to sleep on for the night I get comfy, but I’m interrupted by a tap on my back. I look up and see a girl looking at me. I sit up and ask her what she needs. She whips out a gun and points it to my head. She says “I need you to do some work for me. This bag contains 50 kinder eggs. A man will approach you and he will buy some. They’re 125 dollars each. Don’t let him take more than he pays for.”

I realize I don’t have my gun, then quickly remember I took it off me because it was poking me during the plane ride. She sets a bag down next to me and gets up. I’ll be back later she tells me and walks away. I’m terrified, because I feel like I’ve gotten into trouble, but confused as to why they’re treating kinder eggs as if they’re illegal and why they’re so expensive. I see a man walking to me. He sits next to me and asks, “You got the stuff?”

“Yes, how many do you want?” I ask obviously scared.

I regret not hiding my fear as he realizes I’m weak and presses a gun to my chest. He grabs the bag out of my hand and sprints off into the darkness.

I know I’m in danger because of the amount of money I lost to that man. Luckily at that moment a pickup truck drives by and I manage to jump into the back. I stay in the truck for several days until I see it pass a sight that says, “Welcome to Plaifornia”. I hop off and as I’m walking down the street a man sees me and runs up to me. He pulls me into a tight embrace. When he pulled away I got a clear look at his face and noticed he looked a lot like me. I asked him “Who are you?”

He replied, “I am your father.”

We both cried tears of joy and caught up on each other’s lives. I told him about my whole situation. He informed me that he worked for the government and could change the data to make it seem like I was a citizen. We lived happily together after that.
