Beyond the Boundaries.
Chapter 1
Picture a world where it is controlled only by monarchy, with the same technology as a few hundred years ago, but it is modern times. The royal families are the only ones rich enough to afford technology leaving the rest of the world in a continuous dark age.
Elizabeth looked in the rippling pond as she put a knife up to her curly, golden locks. She hesitated looking down at herself. No I have to do this, she thought. She closed her eyes and and pushed against her hair and cut through. She went on for about ten minutes until she looked down and saw herself different, not as the cute girl she used to be, but now as a boy.
She threw her hair into a nearby bush and ran back to her home, which was a thatched little cottage. She changed into some of her brothers old clothes, grabbed her lunch, and left to go work at the printing press.
