One eye laughing, one eye weeping By: Berry Deneberg ( Antionette Fortune)
My Book Review
Book title and author: By: Berry Denenberg One eye Laughing, One eye Weeping
Title of review: Julie Weiss
Number of stars (1 to 5): 5
A girl name Julie Weiss was a Jew and lived in a small town named Vienna. She had a brother named Max, a dad who they call the ‘’Doctor’’ and a mom who is always depressed.
Her maid always cooked for them and made sure they were prepared. Her mother always had friends over and had dinner. Everything had to be perfect! Julie loved her teacher but on the other hand her best friend hated her teacher!
During the Nazi attacked that happened Julie went to live in New York with her aunt.
This book would be very appropriate for teenagers. Overall this book would be great for someone who loves history.
