Cesar Chavez Letter

On March 31,1927 Cesar Chavez was born. His parents had a hard time helping him in school because they didn’t know that much English, they also didn’t have a lot of money to pay for his school. In the 20th century, Chavez became one of the most famous known person on the California region when he accomplishment with the United Farm Workers. He became the leader of the United Farm Workers organization. The organization was to help the Mexican Farm Working families that needed help.

Dear President Richard Nixon,

Good evening President. I am sending you this letter because I want things to change for the farm working families. They should have better privileges, rights, and opportunities for what they do. The people should also get more money for the amount of work they do. There are many reason on why you might not want to help them with more payment, but there are more logical reasons why you should help them with it. I remember when my parents worked in the farms, we only got the shade of our cars to keep us fresh. I also remember that when we had to go to the bathroom we had to go in random places rather than a bathroom. One of the other things I remembered is that the farm workers didn’t get paid as much as they worked. There was a big difference between to how they worked and how much they got paid.
These are few of the reasons on why I believe on why we should improve the rights, privileges, and opportunities for the farm workers. One of the things I was thinking of improving was to pay them more because if they only get a little bit of money and if they are work way harder than other workers and they only get paid as much as the other workers than that's unfair. The second thing I was thinking on improving was that they get a good amount of shade so they could stay fresh and they could work way better including they won’t have to cover themselves with cloths that they have bought.They also should get more shade because without it they would get tired real quick and they would help you work longer with energy. The last detail I believe we should change is restroom things because if they go and do their business in a brand new crop that is new and they kill the crops by accident then they would be in big bad trouble because they need those crops to keep on growing so they could sell them. These are the reasons why I believe we should change these details and give the farm workers a better environment where they are working in.
