I ran home to tell my mother that we could win lots of money on a game. she looked at me like if I just aid that I was going to run away.

"You cannot join the game it will mean that you have to be gone for two weeks and you also have to put in 1,000 dollars and yet I feel like you are going to lose." she said with a bit of frustration. She went to sit on the bed.

"Please, This might be our chance to win a lot of money." I followed her and sat next to her.

"Enough! you will never join the game and will never join anything!" tears rolled down her cheeks. I've never seen her be so sad. I wiped the tears that didn't seem to stop. "promise me that you will never mention the game... promise me"

"Okay I promise..." I hugged her and at that moment father came in. he asked what was going on since mother was crying she went to the bathroom and wiped the tears off. I explained everything to father and he looked more confused than ever.

"Are you crazy?" he looked at me. Then looked at mother who was red from crying. they went outside to talk and it was not a nice talk more like about to kill talk. Then at that moment father came in got all his stuff and left. Now mother was nearly fainting in the bathroom. I got all the money that I found on the house. Then headed to the game.

2 weeks later, it was the best day of my life and i never thought I would win yet mother said i couldn't. even though i had nothing to expect...

when I got home I found the door wide open. I looked inside to find blood trails to the closet I slowly opened the closet... And I couldn't believe what I was seeing I fell to my knees and cried. I wondered who did this but that was until I found a gun next to her. I buried her in our yard and stayed with her a little. Now I feel like i don't deserve the money.

With that money I got a bigger house. And each night I pray to God to keep me safe.mThat was until I felt a gun against my head...
