Just like that, I was taken from my family, never to see them again, but to be taken to a new family. This new family was different, it was only one person. He ate amazing food, and gave me food that was worse than his. He still loved me though.

“Listen” said Arthur.

Yeah, yeah I’m listening.

“I gotta go bye bye ok, you be a good girl”.

Ok, where are we going Arthur.

“Bye Bye”.

Wait, no don’t leave.

Sometimes humans do the some of the most stupidest things, like throw a ball, and make me go get it, but the stupidest thing they do is leave, everyday, they leave, and I just wait, and wait, sometimes it feels like days, but then all of the sudden they return. I don’t understand it.

“Hey girl did you miss me”? said  Arthur.

Yeah, yeah lets play.

“Stop it girl i have to finish my work”.

Come on lets play.

He never can play, but some days they play too much, and I get really really tired. One day we went for a really long walk, and my human Arthur threw my favorite ball, and it went into the woods. So I chased it,and chased it, but I got into a situation, I got stuck. I yelled, and yelled for Arthur, and he found me, but when I tried to walk, I just couldn’t.

“Oh no Sadie”! said Arthur

What Arthur? What’s wrong?

The next thing I knew I was in a different place, and some really short person with long hair was cutting the hair on my legs, I couldn’t make out her name but Arthur was calling her Doc, so I assume that’s her name. Before I was sent home Doc put this hard thing they called a “cast” on my leg it was very hard to walk.

After Doc took my cast off we started seeing her a lot more, and she became apart of our family, she loved me even more than Arthur, but he didn’t call her by her name he called her Stacy, even though her name was Doc he still called her that. Stacy’s had a little human, that was even shorter than me, Arthur, and her never let me play with the little human, but there was something special about it. I got to see the little human grow, and grow, until she was bigger than me. One day before Arthur got home something broke the window by the front door, so I investigated.

“Oh yeah, we got the jackpot” said the misterious man.

It was two people with black clothes,and masks, they saw me.

“Oh no theres a dog, get dog go on”.

They hit me with something, and it really hurt, they were attacking me, I had to protect the house, so I attacked them, they didn’t like it.

“Ouuuuuch Stan the dog is biting me”.

“Just hit it”.

“Its not working Stan”.

Then Arthur walked in a hit them with a bat, and these loud flashing lights showed up in our front yard. They took the two men men away.

“Good girl Sadie” said Arthur.

The little human’s name was Amelia, she loved me, I loved her. As she got older so did I. She wanted to play all the time, and I did too. When she turned 8 I was turning 9, I was getting older too, but I still loved the family.

“Sadie you wanna go on a walk” said Amelia.

Yeah yeah, please lets go.

“Ok good girl”.

Just me a Amelia went this time, this was the first time we had ever went by ourselves. I never walked with a leash. I decided to take a ball with me so me, and Amelia can play fetch at the park. Amelia threw the ball, and I chased it, she threw it so far that it went onto the road, so I stopped chasing it.

“Sit Sadie I’ll go get the ball” said Amelia.

Okay I’ll stay right here.

Amelia walked all the way to the road, and walked right onto the road, right as a car going 20 over the speed limit was going by, and it hit her, knocked her off her feet.

Amelia, Amelia are you okay.

“He-ell-pp, girl get me help” said Amelia.

I ran home and got Arthur, and took him to the park, when we got their Arthur started to cry.

“She's gone” said Arthur

No shes not Arthur shes right their can’t you see her right their.

“Amelia’s gone Stacy’s she’s dead, hit by a car gone”.

I never saw Amelia again, and the rest of the family always seemed sad, they never wanted to play, or go on walks. One day when Arthur, and Stacy got home Stacy yelled very nervously.

“Arthur help me, Sadies not ok” said Stacy

Yes I am, im fine, are you guys okay, what's wrong?

Arthur put me on the table, and Stacy put this thing around me.

“Arthur shes passing grab me the t--”  

“She’s gone Arthur”

“She was a good dog”
