How To
You must first, before starting anything, turn on the oven to 350 degrees by turning the knob, and then get out all of the ingredients: the flour, 2 and 1/4 cups, ¾ cups of the white and brown sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla extract because who doesn’t love a touch of vanilla in their cookies?, eggs, two fresh from the market, just a pinch of salt, don't ask me why because I have no clue, a dash of baking soda, of course you can’t forget about the butter, about two sticks; You must mix all of these ingredients properly by first combining the white sugar, brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract together in one bowl and then in the second bowl you must mix the two cups of flour, the pinch of salt, and the dash of baking soda, once each bowl is mixed you must combine them!; this is where the three heaping, probably even overflowing, cups of sweet milk chocolate chips are sprinkled, or rather dumped, into the light-brown-cookie colored batter that is now asking you to eat it, yes, It’s taunting me, but you can only have one spoonful of dough to eat because if most of the dough is eaten there won’t be a lot of cookies, I mean also because of the raw eggs you could possible get sick from but, eh, who cares about that, the taste of cookie dough is worth it; now to get back to baking the cookies, You have to take two spoons from the top drawer right below the knives and the coffee machine, and scoop out the dough, one cookie per spoonful, putting it onto the silver colored tray that is in the drawer just below the oven, which you will put cooking spray on, which is stored in the pull out cabinet near the fridge on the shelf that is just above your head, so that once the cookies are baked they won’t stick to the pan when you try to scoop them off; after filling the tray with four rows and five columns, you put them in the oven to bake for 10 minutes, no less, no longer, or else the cookies will either be too doughy or burnt, but it's better to be too doughy than burnt; once the timer dings you must take them out, not with your bare hands of course but with a cooking mitten, and put the tray on the counter next to your spatula and drying rack, which you took out during the 10 minutes that the dough turned into golden-brown chocolate chip cookies, and take each cookie off of the tray and gently lay them down on the drying rack so that they can cool down before being put into a container, the plastic big one with a clear base and red top that's in the cabinet at the end of the counter just under the shelf with the fancy nacho dish; What about the broken ones?, of course you can eat any of those cookies that break when being transferred from the tray to the rack because there is no way you can serve a broken cookie; after all of the cookies are baked and on the drying rack, you must now clean up the entire kitchen: wash the trays with a sponge that has soap on it, turn off the oven, we don’t want your parent’s house to burn down, wipe down the countertop, putting any crumbs you find in the trash, could the dogs have any of the non-chocolate broken pieces?, of course, they’d probably love cookie dough too, but yes make sure there is no chocolate in it, put all of the ingredients away, most of them live in the pantry across from the fridge so that won’t be hard for you to find their places, you must wash all the measuring cups and bowls you used; that is how you bake chocolate chip cookies and clean up too, do you understand?, I won’t be here all the time to do it with you.
