The day went by as normal, as it often did. He went to school, and at school he sat with his peers at lunch. He didn’t call them his friends because he’s convinced they’re not true friends. And it’s true, they don’t treat him like a friend, more like an outlier. He was still so young; so much life to live. No one really wanted to see him go, they just messed with him because they had nothing better to do, or to release some of their own unhappiness, or both. His parent’s don't deserve to walk into his room tonight and see what they’re going to see, and the parents’ parents don’t deserve the phone call they will receive after...It’s so sad to see him go. A son, grandson, nephew, grand-nephew, older brother, cousin, teammate, a friend.
