Pull me, tie me down, and break me...

Pull me, tie me down and break me. The harder you try to tear me apart, the stronger I become. So maybe I'm a little twisted and tattered, but at least I can withstand everything you put me through. I clench at the pull of your bitter words, I coil at the sound of his voice. You've beat me down and worn me out for far too long. So now I'm tying you down and holding you back, you can never use me again because I'm wrapped around his heart, not your finger like you always wanted.
