Noticed
There was once a small village deep in a rocky, yet forested, mountain range. In this village there was a boy who observed everything, the rocks, plants, landscape, and animals. He would spend hours each day walking through nature and just stare at all his eyes could stare at and pretend to jot down little notes with a stick on leaves as if it was his profession. However the one thing he noticed the most about was people. The boy possessed an untaught skill where he could tell how someone was feeling just by looking at them. People would be stunned when the boy told the why they were upset, happy, nervous, etc. This was the only thing the boy could say, he was mostly hated by his family and failed out of school just because he was always closed-mouth even though he could understand everything happening around him. Despite the fact that he noticed everything, he was unnoticed by most, he was the one who would strike up conversation with others to tell them their emotions, he would be pushed around like a door to a house. One day the boy snapped and ran away from the village taking his gift with him and was never seen in the village to this day. The villagers suspected he has killed himself or moved to a nearby village, However he took his talent of noticing and caring to where it was needed. The boy would visit the sick, elderly and depressed all over the continent. He was talked about all over as a miracle worker and hero to all. When the boy then man died at age 104 his death was made a holiday and he is celebrated to this day. To honor him, this story was made.
