Waves
“Whoosh.” The waves crash along the cold, wet sand. Water reaches my feet, as I feel a cold rush up my body. Ankle-deep, I can feel the waves slowly wash away. I keep walking up the beach, but deep down I am waiting for the next wave to fall upon. I love water, and the sound waves make on the beach. It is a soothing sound.
The moon has arose into the sky, as darkness has taken over the daylight. The darkness leaves me with no sight. The moon is my only way of light, which now guides my way down into the cold dark night.
The waves crash up onto my ankles again, leaving a rush that explodes up my body. The sand beneath my barefeet, is cold and damp. I walk away into this cold dark night.
