Why Valentine’s Day? I don’t understand the holiday. There are so many other days of the year to celebrate love and whatever. Anniversaries, weddings...Christmas are all occasions where you can celebrate the love for each other. I hate Valentine’s Day. It just reminds me of what I don’t have. I look around and there are all these couples. I never had or will have what they have. Why would anyone want me? I tried to find someone, but nobody looking for someone like me. Maybe it is because I have such high standards, or because I try too hard. My parents tell me that I’ll find someone one day. Maybe. Or not. I used to be so in love with love! After a while, waiting for someone to tell you that they care for you, you lose your hope.
