The girl and the moon
Every once in a while the girl remembered the view from her bedroom window. Pulling up all the curtains shut, closing all the doors, turning the lights down. To sit in complete darkness only to be lit by the moonlight. The shades were always down during the day, and always up in the night. The moon watched over her. He watched all of it, but the girl didn’t know that. She thought-she was watching the moon, they were watching each other. Both in love with another.
