Ice Fire
I had always been told the tales of the Great North Gifted, of how we had thwarted the vicious intentions of the Scientists. However, we had not been the only Gifted in the cursed cells. The hated South Gifted. In those times, or so the elders say, we had been allies. Such peace between us now seems unbelievable. Both sides had defeated the Scientist menace, but they had also suffered heavy losses. The leaders seemed glad for newfound freedom. Things were looking wonderful for a bright future. Then it happened. The South Leader killed our treasured Leader, right infront of witnesses. The coward fled. This was the cause of our now present war. The South Leader still lives, the tratiorous murderer. The South must pay. Now, however, was not the time to revive old grudges. I was a P.O.W and only 15. It was not the South who held me captive either.
