The Chicken Star
Long, long ago in a world not too far from earth called Glovelandia lived Riley and Eli. Riley and Eli were part of the Glovers, which was the leading political party on Glovelandia. Although they were in the same political party, Riley and Eli disagreed on one topic. That topic was the Chicken Star. The Chicken Star had an incredible amount of lore. The ancient gods were said to have summoned the Chicken Star into existence. They gave it the power to freeze time so that only the person who possessed the Chicken Star could move. Riley and Eli both knew of the Chicken Star but they had differing opinions on the object. Riley loved the thought of being able to possess the Chicken Star, but Eli did not like the idea of anyone possessing the Chicken Star because he thought they would become too powerful and take over all of Glovelandia.
On one fateful yet boring Monday morning, Riley set out to obtain the Chicken Star from the mountain of Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur. Riley thought that Eli would not know where he was going, and therefore, he thought it would be an easy journey. However, Eli was secretly informed by Joe, one of Riley’s friends, that Riley was going to get the Chicken Star. Eli knew Riley was going to take the Chicken Star and use the item’s power to rule over all of Glovelandia, so he set out on a journey to get there before him. Since Riley thought the journey was going to be easy, he procrastinated for a significant amount of time on his way there.
Riley procrastinated for far too long, so Eli arrived at the mountain of Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur first and told Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur what Riley that Riley was going to take the Chicken Star. Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur did not like that Riley was going to try and steal the Chicken Star, so he thought of a plan with Eli. Eli knew that Riley loved bubbles, and he told Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur about Riley loving bubbles. Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur then thought of a great plan; Eli would blow bubbles at Riley and then Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur would smash him with his bat. They waited for the perfect moment when Riley was walking by, and suddenly, Eli popped out of the bushes and blew bubbles at Riley. Riley watched in awe as the bubbles moved towards him. BANG! Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur’s Bat knocked Riley out after it collided with his head. Tung-Tung-Tung-Sahur then tossed Riley off the mountain, never to be seen again. Eli triumphantly stood over the ledge of the mountain, and with his chest puffed out, he screamed, “No Chicken Star for you Riley.” Eli then proceeded to let out a bubonic laugh and went back to Glovelandia’s capital to live happily ever after with the fellow members of the Glovers.
