“Bring me Riverback and Firestorm”, the Grand Elder commanded, “I think they think they show enough potential for the task”.
“Grand Elder are you sure this is a wise choice”, Leafblade asked concerned.
The Grand Elder bared his fangs, “Of course I am sure Leafblade or else I would not have asked for them!”
“But sir, we do not even know what Riverbacks power is. How can he be-”.
“STOP”, the Grand Elder roared.
Leafblade cringed as if in pain.
The Grand Elder’s features softened,” I am truly sorry Leafblade”, the Grand Elder replied starring at leafblade with apologetic eyes, “Firestorm and Riverback’s father was a very loyal dragon and I have no doubts Riverback will be the same.”
“Oh, and Leafblade?”
“Yes, sir?”
“The time has come.”
“What time sir?”
He looked at Leafblade with solemn eyes, “The prophecy has begun.”
