Destruction Day
The earth moaned before releasing its rage of disaster. Above, all you could see was a ceiling of terror. Earthquakes, tornados, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis all occurred at once. People scattered like beetles that had just been exposed. The houses crumbled and washed away as if they were made of paper. No place was safe. Lakes, rivers, oceans; all flooded. Soon the ground was a giant sea. The fish transformed into monster sized, poisonous, man-eating creatures. Cries for help were heard from all directions, yet no one was there to save them. They were doomed from the start. Suddenly the world fell silent. Everything froze. No splashing waters, roaring skies, or cries for help. It was all finally over. The survivors, who had witnessed this day, were overjoyed. But what’s in store for tomorrow?
