Man and Wolf
When Man discovered the dark, unknown path, he convinced his best friend Wolf to come along with him. When they reached the end of the dark path, Man was smarter, sharper, and crueler than ever. He was happy, and ready to begin his ascent into the great world, to become its leader. But Wolf was angry. He had emerged as a scrawny, helpless creature. The darkness had warped his pure and loyal heart. He was furious with Man for bringing him along, and now refused to go on. ‘You are a fool, Man.’ said Wolf. ‘You will be the end of this beautiful world if you continue. Come back with me, and we can be happy back in the forests.’ but Man became angry also. ‘Stupid animal!’ he cried. ‘You have betrayed me.’ and he threw himself onto Wolf, tying a rope around his throat. ‘You will now be known as Dog, and you will follow my every command.’ and Dog followed his master, tail tucked and head down.
