A Forbidden Love
Enter Left stage arguing about their forbidden love while walking on a trail in the woods.
Mary Jane- “But Bill, I can't run off with you and you KNOW that! I can't just leave my parents like that, do you understand?”
Bill- “No, no I don't! You know just as well as I do that I’ve never had parents, Much less so ones that cared for me!”
Quietly Mary-”Bill, you know that I love you!
Quietly Bill-Yes, and I you.”
In a quiet undertone they exit back right stage holding hands
Scene II
In a room adorned with flowers of all kinds Mary is talking with her best friend, Lucy both sitting in chairs
Mary- “Lucy, I don't know what to do! I can't run away with him out of respect for my parents , and I don't think he gets that!”
Lucy- Mary, You NEED to block him out of your life since he is trying to manipulate you! Your eighteen and much more wise than your years! I'm surprised that don't see the issues!
Scene shift, curtains, Bucky and Bill are talking on the porch on a bench.
Bill- “Bucky, I love her, yet Mary says she loves me but won't run off with me! What should I do?
Bucky- You know what I'm going to say, tell her that you respect her choice but that you BOTH need to go your own separate ways. BILL!! Your nineteen and still acting like a schoolboy! Man Up!!!
Curtains, scene change, dim lights, for scene III

Mary runs and hugs Bill then they hold hands as they walk to a nearby park bench around dusk.
Mary-Bill what is this about my love? This isn't our normal meeting spot.
Bill-Mary......
Mary- Bill I know what you are going to say.
Bill- Just hear me out..... Please Mary, ** Dramatic sigh** While we love each other it IS forbidden. And I think we would be better off going our own separate ways at this point and moving on.
Mary-I know, so is this it?
Bill-I hope not, It's NOT what I want
Mary- Then lets go our separate ways for now and see each other again in about a year to see where we stand.
Bill- Wh...
Mary- No, this is the best thing.

Lucy and buck walk on stage from left center stage and walk around in a specified path on stage
Lucy- Buck I'm worried about Bill and Mary-J.
Buck- Why?
Lucy- Because you know that Bill is manipulative and Mary-J is obsessed with him! And I'm afraid that they won't separate and he will crush Mary-J.
Buck- They are Adults and all we can do is advise them so that hopefully they will make better decisions.
Lucy-Your right, although I will continue to talk with Mary-J still about all of this.
Buck-And I will try to find some help for Bill.
Lucy- Bucky, what if they try and run away together?
Bucky- Then I guess they will have to learn the hard way.
Exit Bucky and Lucy Left stage, Curtains.

Mary and Bill look into the distance from different sides of the stage reciting part of a poem.
Bill- As I look into the moon and stars,
I am reminded of you,
Your eyes shining like the stars,
You glow like the moon,
Shining this light into a dark world,
Mary- Looking to the sky,
I see a reminder of your Black Void,
Trying to fill it with temporary things,
Only if I knew how to help,
If only I could fill your void with joy and love.

Lucy- Mary, You NEED to block him out of your life since he is trying to manipulate you! Your eighteen and much more wise than your years! I'm surprised that don't see the issues!

Bill- Wh...

Mary and Bill look into the distance from different sides of the stage reciting part of a poem.
Bill- As I look into the moon and stars,
I am reminded of you,
Your eyes shining like the stars,
You glow like the moon,
Shining this light into a dark world,
Mary- Looking to the sky,
I see a reminder of your Black Void,
Trying to fill it with temporary things,
Only if I knew how to help,
If only I could fill your void with joy and love.
Curtains.
