The Bike Ride
My name is John, I am thirteen years old, and this is the story of the day I was kidnapped and murdered. The year was 1978, late september. The leaves were just beginning to change colors. School had just ended, and my best friend, Andrew, was going to walk home with me.
"Hey, Andrew", I said excitedly, "Wanna ride bikes later?"
"I can't today John. Remember my little cousins birthday party is today." Suddenly I remembered our conversation from yesterday.
"Oh yeah," I said, "I completely forgot" Then suddenly, Andrew said, in a frightened voice, "I'll see ya later John."
I didn't think anything of it at the time, so I just said, "See ya later Andrew." I walked about another mile, and that's when it all started... the run for my life.

I hope that everyone loves this short story. I wrote it myself, and I would like to get some feedback on it, so I know if I should keep writing stories like this.
