Reason?
Whenever I’m walking outside, I am disgusted by people smoking. The smell disgusts me and just thinking about what happens to smoker’s lungs makes me sick. I never understand people who stand out in the cold just to smoke, or those who spend at least $6 a day on a pack of cigarettes, some even spend double that. They could save over $2,000 a year if they didn’t feel the need to smoke a pack a day.
Smoking cigarettes can lead to many illnesses including lung cancer and heart disease. These sicknesses can even take several years off one’s life, leading to broken homes. In addition, second-hand smoke has scary effects on non-smokers. Even if someone isn’t smoking themselves, they can still be affected by smoke, causing cancer or other sickness. Why would someone take all these risks just to smoke a cigarette? I don’t see the attraction or reason in doing this?
