I Saw It

I saw him hurt her
I didn't say
I was scared
That he'd hurt me in the same way
I didn't help him
Though I saw
The pain he suffered
On the floor
I didn't report it
Though I wish I did
Then maybe this could be avoided
I'm sorry victim
I watched it unfold
Watched you bleeding
Hurt and cold
Please forgive me
I did not intend
For it to happen like it did
But I saw it
And I guess I am
As much a bully
As him
