Better Off Dead

Why is it,
everyone thinks
they can speak of how much
better it is once we die.
Then get flooded with
wonder when
someone pushes a knife
deep in the rivers of life.
They don't even get the
paradise
promised to them.
Instead,
they get white padded rooms
nurses who think their insane.
When really,
its not them.
Its the one who told them
they'd be better off
dead!
