My Self Doubter: "Harriet"
You know that voice inside your head..Of course you know. The one that says your not good enough and won't ever be. I call mine "Harriet." She is my greatest enemy, but I trust her words to be the absolute truth. I like to picture her as a snotty little girl, who always gets her way. She loves to complain and point out other people's faults, but of course, she, herself, is amazing. She likes to go on and on about my wide hips,my inablity to do the right thing and my extra-strength guy repellent. Like a mustard stain that never comes out on your favorite pair of jeans, Harriet is always there, no matter how hard you scrub. We like to fight..and guess who usually wins? Recently though, I have been winning..Because i have realized how doubt Harriet is. Or maybe I have just realized how dumb I was for listening to her.
