The writing titled “Simple as Boba,” written by Allison W., talks about banning of plastic straws.  Her writing left me feeling inspired. “What will happened to boba shops when plastic straws are banned?” asked Allison. Many states are banning plastic straws because they are bad for the oceans. People are wondering if they need to use metal or paper straws. Many people love boba. With these bans, they are afraid they are going to close. “Boba shops will have to go the extra mile to cut these straws themselves,” stated Allison. Maybe someone could create fiber glass straws, they are like plastic but clear. They have until July of 2019, to get an alternative for their straws. Allison is a afraid of a chain reaction of all the shops closing.
