The Color Black
With it being Black History Month, the article "The Color Black" really hits home. Even though I am a hispanic teenager, I have many friends who struggle simply because of the color of their skin. Because Hispanics are a discriminated race as well, I can relate to their inequality in society. Shelby Langer does an amzing job at explaining the deepest meaning of the color black. When Langer states "I lay on the skin of millions of people who are punished because of me", it emphasizes the pain and struggle of the large community of African Americans. Thank you Shelby Langer for being the voice of the color black. And also thank you to the color black, for staying strong.
