Darfur MAG
I absolutely agree with Virginia M. that the world must band together to help Sudan’s Darfur region, especially since our president has acknowledged there is genocide happening there. I have read other articles about the situation and it sickens me to hear that genocide is occurring anywhere. What is even more disgusting is the fact that no one, not even the U.S., is doing much to stop it (aside from the small teams in Darfur who have set up refugee camps).
Virginia is right when she says something must be done because this situation is reminiscent of Hitler and we all know what happened during his rule. Thank you for publishing this piece because now more teens will be informed and hopefully motivated to act for the sake of the people who are suffering from genocide in Sudan and other countries.
