Music Education in Schools MAG
I completely agree with Kevan H.'s article, which discusses how important music education is for schools. Some schools try to save money by cutting these programs, and others never had music to begin with. Kevan notes that music can foster academic success and life skills including teamwork.
I have friends I wouldn't have met if it weren't for my school's band and choir programs. Music is one of my pride and joys, and I practice it the most when I'm at school. I don't think I would have discovered how much I love to sing and play the drums without these classes.
